Forest - once again

This is a new version of the painting from the previous post from Lisbjerg Forest! This time without the sunbeams - and this time I used watercolor. And this time the proportions are more correct, on the previous one, in oil, I had compressed the height to make the trees fit on a canvas, and something wasn't right about that. I didn't paint the sunbeams this time, because I wanted a different feel to this forest picture.

Watercolor, 24 x 36 cm, on Fabriano Studio 300 g CP paper.

  1. I do like woodland scenes too. It is hard to pick which one of the two I prefer, but the later version gets it by a whisker.
