Oak-trees (Fussingø, Denmark)

Oil on canvasboard (40 x 30 cm, 16'' x 12''), March 2010.

This time I tried using the Munsell-system for mixing colors. Normally I would have used a lot of earth-colors for most of the leaves, like burnt sienna. This time, with the munsell-system, i used cadmium orange and cadmium red mixed with ivory black and titanium white.

It took a long time to paint all the leaves!
